"Sdhorim, we haven't had a prophecy in many years. And are you sure of the reciever?"
"You question me, Tamaska?"
The young golden wolf reeled back from the elder's harsh reply, and stammered, "N---no, Sdhorim."
The black, gray, and white wolf nodded and flicked his ears, jingling the ringson them. "Good. I am sure." Sdhorim leaned foreward until his nose touched the saphire waters of the Pool. He recoiled, and almost as soon as he did, an image appeared in the waters. Two wolves fought fearcely, both identical save the opposite colors. One was light blue and black like ice, the other red and black like fire. The fire wolf, to make things more complex, was a Winged Wolf.
Sdhoirm lifted a paw, this one, like the others, holding some sort of gold or silver jewlary. His bright blue eyes narrowed and he murmured, "Something has disturbed the balance of power in Hazar-shual, just as I suspected."
A bronze-colored she-wolf spoke boldly. "Sdhoirm, should not we wait and see what happens?"
The elder lifted his lips. "Fayolyn, if this prophecy is ignored, even for the shortest of times, then great distruction will occour, not only for the Whispering Lands. If this is allowed to happen, it will cause a chain of events that will affect the entire planet. We must act now."
"But, Sdhorim..." the other she-wolf said suddenly. "Why him? He is not our kind, in fact, his type....he....he is a Winged Wolf! He cannot be trusted with something this important."
The elder listened paitently to her words, but his eyes began to express great annoyance. "We must trust him, you must trust me, because he and he alone knows why harmony must exist between his kind and ours. If it is any other, then our only chance to unite the two kinds for the upcomming events will fail and never come around again."
The five wolves gathered around the Pool, the young wolf, two females, Sdhorim, and a wolf that had not spoken, were silent. When one finnaly spoke again, it was Sdhoirm, voicing the prophecy.
He said this in such an ominous tone that no wolves objected. Then, finnaly, the wolf that had not spoken murmured, "Sirius Blackheart is our only home to prevent the chain of events. Sdhorim is correct." And then, the silence engulfed them.
Hundreds of miles away from the Dreamwalkers, Sirius raised his head as a crack of lightning lit up the sky. He felt Azerez shift beside him, still asleep. He'd just had the strangest dream... sure, he'd heard of the Dreamwalkers, he couldn't believe Sdhoirm had just spoken to him. No, he chose not to believe it. The black wolf lowered his head back to his paws and closed his eyes.
Ooc;; Ok, feel free to join. Oh, and Night? Go ahead and let Barty still be with Az if you want. otherwise, we might have to replay the whole scene.
