Finding the Prince (short thread)

The blu-ish grey she-wolf looked around for a storm cloud. She would use it to travel over the plain. She caught sight of one and rested inside its fluffy wet core. She could rest here. The wind was in her favor and she wouldn't have to direct it. she would just have to watch until she got to the Ice Fangs. She souldn't be able to use her powers while passing through the gate. she could use them when she got past though.
This wolf was on a mission to find the , now, Prince of her kingdom. He had run off with a Moon Wolf only a month ofter he was promoted to an apprentice. Now the king had gone missing, and she needed to find the Prince before something terrible happened. But more information than she needed was in store. It would affect the Spirit Realms, thus affecting all of the Whispering Lands. This wolf was Kazume Indigoheart.

A black pelted wolf did, in fact, dot the snow. But it wasn't Night Wisper. Sirius Blackheart lay with his head on his paws, resting after the long treck through the snow. A purple wolf lay on his side beside Sirius. His eyes were closed as he slept, but he still looked so alert. The two wolves seemed in a petrified state, even as Azerez Silentheart detected Kazume with his sharp sences. Luckily enough, three little dots did not cluster around them. Sirius had left his pups with their mother, Shadou, durring this journey. Pups, he felt, as much as he loved them, were too much work and often slowed them down. But, one small detail that could easily be overlooked by eyes overhead, was that these two wolves were Winged Ones.

Kazume crossed the border and floated into her cloud again. She saw the two wolves and caught their scent. Winged Ones.. She thought, she was a Spiritclan wolf and did not really favor some of those wolves. She didn't hate them, just didnt favor them. Thought Sirius' scent was familiar to her she couldn't tell, the moisture from the cloud masked it.
She swooped down in front of the wolves with her eyes glowing indigo , her ears back, and in an attack stance. She was a warrior of Spiritclan, the best in fact, even though she was female.

Sirius sprang to his paws, fur bristling, at once. It was a SpiritClan wolf, the last thing he wanted to meet at the moment. To his surprise, Azerez didn't follow suit. Insted, he calmly got up only to sit down. Moments afterwords, Sirius relaxed. It was only Kazume, though to say that was any better is debateable.

Kaz looked from Sirius to Azerez. Her ears perked up. she ran over to Azerez and rubbed against him.
Hi Azerez,, sorry i couldn't smell you from the cloud! She backed off and sat down. She noddedto Sirius.
Sirius Blackheart. Kaz lifted her chin so he wouldn't think he was more powerful. (er something like that.)

Azerez shrugged. He knew Kaz well, and didn't blame her.
Sirius gave the she-wolf a nod. "Aye. Blackheart is here and fully accounted for, thank you. I don't need any rollcall to be taken." he said simply, lifting his head as well.

[NightWisper]

Kaz ignored him and rubbed her head under Azerez's chin. She pulled away smiling.
How have you been. How come Shadou isn't here?

Azerez pulled back sharply at the mention of Sirius's former mate. "Long story. She stayed behind to look after the pups." he replied simply, eyes stating he clearly didn't wish to talk about it.

Kaz's ears flattened. Sorry Az...er.. if you ever knew thats what Bartimaeus calls you. Night's ghost. Kaz smiled, Thats two other people that admire besides you're brother and me. Night really respects you ya' know. And Barty .. i dont know what he thinks of you but... hey.

Azerez tilted his head slightly. "Wow...I never expected that." he mumbled.
Sirius gave a loud snort of contempt. "Kaz, why are you here?"he asked.

Kaz's smile faded. She laid down close to Azerez. that is... well i would say its none of your buisness but it is, and it should wait til' later. Have you guys seen night and er.. Moon? Did she betray him yet? I felt Barty become released because night got angry. What happened?

Sirius sighed and sat down. "As far as I know, Moon and Night are still together, raising a litter of pups. And no, Moon has and never will betray Night." he snapped the last part, defending the she-wolf he'd known since he'd found her and Flare buried for warmth under the snow.

Kaz put her ears back. Ok then, so they've had pups? Well then i guess i can't do anything about it. Even though i have to seperate them for a long while at some point in the closer time. Night is now Prince of the Spirit Realms. Heir to the throne of the King Spirit. I know what happened to Spirit, but i don't think Nights ready to find out. With his mate, and his pups and all.

Sirius's look turned from reporochful to curious. "And why couldn't Moon go with him? Why does he have to leave in the---"
"---first place." Azerez finished for him, casting his brother a playful smirk.

[NightWisper]

Kaz looked at Azerez then at Sirius. Moon Wolves arent- - very welcome there... thats why Moon didnt stay instead of Night leaving, Winged Ones aren't welcome either.... Kaz looked at her paws. I need you two to come with us, but you dont have to risk getting torn to pieces if you dont have to. I could probably sneak one of you in, but they wouldn't let in two.------ Sorry Azerez, but i dont want to risk you. Sirius will have to come. The reason he needs to leave to the SR is .. cause hes the Prince now, and without the heir to the king's throne, the SR is disinegrating.

Sirius lashed his tail. "Oh, I feel loved!" he snapped moodily.
Azerez looked upset. "If Sirius goes, I at least will be waiting as close as I possibly can! He's my brother, and I don't want to hang around like an old purple rag." he growled, ears flat.
But at the rest of Kaz's words, Sirius's anger softened. "Disinegrating?" he asked.

Yea, like its fading way. its creepy. You're not a purple rag Azerez.

[Silv]

Azerez flicked his ears. "I'm purple, aren't I? And if I hang around waiting for you guys, I'll feel like a rag." he replied sharply as Sirius fell silent.

Sorry Azerez, ill tell you everything when we get back. Kaz lowered her head and murmured: IF we get back...

Azerez flicked his ears. "I'm comming with you, at least as far as the broder." he stated firmly. "Nothing you say will change my mind. If anything goes wrong, you'll need someone to get help."
Sirius nodded in agreement. "We do things together." he said.
